
| With the opening of the
OHare extension of the Blue Line in 1984 and the Orange Line to Midway in 1993,
Chicago became one of the few cities in the world with rapid transit service to two major
airports. When used in combination with CTAs extensive bus service, the whole world
is within easy reach of just about anywhere in the city, and vice-versa.
CTA's Presidential Fellowship Program 2008

The aim of this highly selective, paid fellowship program is to recruit graduate students from
across the country to gain skills as public service professionals while learning the
complexities inherent to service provision in the public sector.

CTA Career Fair Events:
- The Chicago Transit Authority will host a job fair to recruit applicants interested
in joining the agency as Part-Time Bus Operators.
The job fair will be held:

Date: Friday, July 18, 2008
Time: 9:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.
Job fair attendees will have the opportunity to speak with CTA Human Resources personnel about
the position and the benefits package available to Part-Time Bus Operators.
Interested individuals must be at least 21 years old and are required to have an acceptable
driving record and a valid Illinois State Class "B" CDL driver's license or CDL Permit with
Knowledge, Passenger, and Air Brakes Endorsements.
Excellent customer service skills a must!
