General Office:
The Chicago Transit Authority's general office is located at 567 W. Lake Street, Chicago,
IL 60661.
The Purchasing Department is located on 4th. General Office hours
are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The general office is closed on the following holidays:
New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day &
Christmas Day.
Bid Openings:

page. Bid opening dates for Supply, Services and Construction solicitations are listed along with the
associated bids.
Events and Workshops:
The DBE Program and Purchasing and Warehousing will sponsor an Annual Transit
Symposium and Exchange with comparable departments of the RTA, PACE and Metra
on November 17, 2005.
